A fast, above the lip assault in all conditions.

Purpose: Extensively tested at Blacks and Scripps pier, team rider, Bernard Lambotte has been our chief advisor on our high performance grovelers. The Bullet thrives on being the early bird, getting in before the rest of the lineup has a chance to react! We took advantage of a fishy outline, pulled the width in just a touch to streamline the rail curve, and changed the tail to rely solely on speed, keying off of a wide, winged diamond for rail to rail guidance. For speed, hold and control, go with the single to vee and 5-fin setup(quad + nub) for a more vertical, yet forgiving approach. For the bold and brash, go with the twin keel/ single channel out the tail to boost your speed and lengthen the arc of your blistering rail gouges! A more advanced "shortboardy" approach to shorter, fuller templates, the Bullet likes to bite off more than most can chew, holding its own in every kind of scenario.

Designed For: Intermediate to advanced surfer who values speed and paddle power in their high performance surfing. You're not afraid to go shorter, wider and faster.

Sweet Spot: Knee to 2ft overhead, with its true character revealed in thigh to head high surf. All the speed of a fish with a flare for above-the-lip antics.

WOW!!! SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Haven't been able to surf for 2 months due to a knee injury and finally at a point where I feel like I can at least pop up and ride a wave. I bought this board (nex gen epoxy version) while doing rehab and couldn't wait to try it out. Today was the day and it s was a soft but clean day more suited for long boarders and middies with sets between knee to chest crumbly. I was impressed with how well this thing paddled and easy to duck dive. I have quite a few groveler's in my quiver and they all took some time to get used to but I got on with this one right away. It felt good while paddling and getting into waves and the volume is spread well so it's not corky and I can still get a good feel for the wave and not feel like I'm too much on top. It was easy to catch and get into waves and I was catching stuff that the dudes in long boards missed. Rode as a quad and it is fast and I can feel nimbleness of it, although I can't do much maneuvers or pumping at the moment till my knee gets strong enough but I'm sure it will go good. Got the 5'8" which is close to the shorter end in my quiver for my abilities and also one of my lower volume boards. Can't wait to play around with different fin set up and to be able to more turns on it. Jake and Trevor helped out and always good service when I come to the shop to check stuff out and have questions.

Great board

Awesome company to deal with, I bought 3 boards from them and each one was a winner! My latest addition is the Bullet..just as advertised it is a great groveler, light and fast. No wave left behind, If your looking for a fun board for smaller waves get this one, you will not be dissapointed. Fast friendly guys and they ship the boards well protected.

6' Bullet Groveler

I recently picked up this board cause I was looking for something shorter to ride for when the NE swell occasionally picks up. Having never ridden a purpose built groveler board I was curious how it would perform compared to the the big fish I usually go for. Being a heavier dude (207 lbs.) and intermediate in ability I was nervous about volume so I went with a 6' Bullet. If it didn't work out I could exchange it for something else in that price range. Well this past Tuesday I got to really give this Bullet a go. 3-6 ft. mush @ 10 secs. with sketchy abnormally larger and hollow clean up sets every 5 mins topping out at 14 ft. The board handled the washing machine well. Duck dives weren't too hard, balancing point wasn't hard to find either, paddling was a little difficult but, I'm a little out of shape lol. But, I caught 2 waves and got out of there (others out there kinda did the same thing lol) the board had great drive down the line, lots of playfulness in the tail and loved being whipped around. Not sliddy like you'd expect from a fish or other small wave board. Only complaints would be theres no visible stringer. It's to common that epoxy boards don't have em these days and its annoying. When I was putting the tail pad on I really had measure to make sure it was centered. I also like using the string as reference point sometimes. I guess it's a pet peeve I'll get over. All in all it's great board so far.
