Small waves have never been so fun!

Purpose:  This is our easiest transition coming off of a longboard. Defined by its name, this board allows you to “poach” when the waves render shorter boards useless. Its fun and loose feel is perfect when you want to stay nimble and catch everything without moving to a full longboard. It’s also perfect for a grom (youth) or lady looking to get out with a smaller board that is more manageable. Its thruster fin setup and rounded pin tail gives you classic control and smooth turns while also being able to handle a steeper, faster wave. The Poacher is the ultimate wave catching weapon.

Designed For: The light weight beginner to advanced surfer looking for longboard characteristics in a more manageable and maneuverable size.

Sweet Spot: Shin to Overhead, with its true identity revealed in knee to head high surf. Whether its a slow summer roller or a clean full face, the poacher makes every wave fun.

Great Board - Poacher

The 6’10” poacher is perfect for me and my home breaks. Lots of versatility, easy paddler, and maneuverability. Great simple board for OBX, North Carolina and a bigger guy - I am 6’ and 200lbs.

Lotta Fun can give you a rash

Great board and a lot of fun. The soft top is cool and does not require wax. The only negative thing is it can give you a pretty bad rash on the back of your legs if you are trunkin' it.

Amazing! This board is a dream

I’ve picked up surfing again after 25 years of not being in the water. I’m 20 lbs heavier (190lbs) and this 6’6” poacher at 40 liters was perfect for me. The way this board sets the rail in the face of the wave felt like a knife thru soft butter. I can’t believe I caught a 200 yard wave down the line my first time out in so long. It felt amazing. Great board.
